Lib Dems to "give it 110%"

The LibDem leader promised a "full out" battle to win the upcoming Hartlepool by-election, claiming it would be a close fight with Labour with two possible outcomes.

Either the LibDems would take the seat or Labour would hold on "by the skin of their teeth".

But the LibDems would "give it 110%" to ensure Labour did not win by default as it did in Birmingham Hodge Hill.
